Top thread tension too loose or uneven feed of top thread. Check the top is threaded per machine instructions.

I know you hate to hear this but you are probably threading it incorrectly. Make sure that the presser foot is in the up position when you thread the machine. This ensures that the tension discs are open and the thread makes it in between the disc.

Try a different bobbin. Look for one that is a little narrower. I had the same problem and changing to a narrower bobbin fixed it.

look at the bobbin direction. if it dont pick up that way, change the direction
