My Vizio E65-E1 turns on once plugged in and flashes vizio logo for a second then shuts off. It does this every 10 seconds or so on its own. What is my issue?

The main board has failed. Replace the main board will fix the problem.

By the way, where did you buy the TV? If you have bought it from Costco then try to give them a call to see if it still under warranty.

SOURCE: Power is there, but TV won't turn on

stored voltages are high no touching these circuts becuase they hold charges and alot of screws.
fualty capacitors you say after a while it stays on theres a full charge in the unit theres some type of discharging effect on the set after its off for a while. voltage goes to low or unstable after it is off for a while. your better off getting the service docs for this set if you want to diy..other wise get a tv tech to check it for you. hope this helps

Most probably the mainboard of the TV has a problem. But no worries as it is only 6 months old call up Vizio and they'll replace it for you free of charge :)
