I have an early model Kipor KDE 6700TA generator which starts and the shuts down after 30 secs with the LH Propect light on, I have checked the oil and changed the oil pressure sensor

Hi,
I just guessing here but it could mean that the oil pressure is too low.
I'd check the oil level first, then look for the oil pressure switch and temporarily disconnect it.

forget about the display read the manual and find out how many volts are needed to charge the battery....then
get a voltometer and disconnect the terminals from the battery and connect them to the voltometer while the generator is running...
find out what the reading is...if the reading is zero (0)...then post a problem on (no out put)...
if not.....then there has to be a mistake...
if it reads a voltage thats too low..then you AVR card is burnt out (AVR card is located in the other end of the generator (beyond the stator-side cover)...
