SOURCE: Need new remote

You can contact the manufacture and order a new remote or you can go to a local electronics store and purchase a universal remote. On the universal remote packaging check to see if it lists your brand.

I have an Optimus radiant heater dish with the remote control. I love it, but it's broken. It will not turn on. It is fairly new. What can I do to repair it?

It may be the remote control. Have you tried operating the heater without the remote? If you haven't give it a try. This will tell you if the problem is with the remote of not. If works without using the remote, the remote may need new, fresh batteries. If that doesn't solve the problem, turn OFF the Master Switch on the heater to OFF. Unplug the heater and wait 12 to 15 minutes before plugging it back in.
Turn the Master Switch on the heater ON. And try operating it. Hopefully, that time out, gave it enough time to reset itself.

One night the fan turned off as we slept and last night, it's lights came on in the middle of the night.

The electronic control unit in the fan might be going/has gone bad. Depending on the amount of money a new one might be, it may be adviseable on getting a new fan.

Hi,
Please reinstall batteries in remote and check.
If still does not work then remote circuit board could be damaged and new remote is an option.
Hope this info will help you.

REMOTE CONTROL DOESNT WORK

Some of the remotes that originally came with those units did not work or last very long. The manufacturer then later offered another remote to replace the first units. It looks like the model number you provided is a serial number, not the actual model number. I suggest that you contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446 with your model number (you should be able to find it directly on your unit with the serial number you provided) and they should have that replacement available for purchase. You also can find them on-line at www.masterparts.net. I hope this helps you!

No lights on heater/fan panel.

Yes, there is illumination behind the heater control panel.

You need to remove the center inst cluster upper (radio) & lower finish (heater) panels to gain access to the heater control; the light socket is behind the heater panel.

Remote control problems

I would love to say we can help, but the truth is, you remote needs to be replaced. One of the advantages to have the remote is that you wear out the remote, not the controls on the tv. And replacing a remote is much cheaper. You have done all you can to save this remote. You will need to replace it.
