I scanned one size of a page. Why I got the result is two pages including 1 page with content and one page is blank. How can I fix this?

Tell your scanning software to only scan the front of the page. The i1220 can scan both sides of the page with a single pass. That's what its doing (the blank page is the back of your scan).

CANON 2080c scanner not scanning bottom quarter inch of page

Check your scan settings. If you have chosen A4 and the paper is slightly bigger, this can happen. It is also possible when the scanner does not pick up the paper in the first attempt because it is worn out. In such an event, you may find a blank on the top of the image. Clean the rollers with a damp cloth. Dont use solvents.

Can only scan simplex or duplex

The scanner can scan in either simplex or duplex mode only. If blank page is scanned, then it will appear BLANK, else someone would say, my scanner is not scanning properly! Remove balnk pages using software or sort on file size and delete the small sized files. Take care to ensure they are really blank.

"Skip Blank Page" Set to 0.1% Yet still skips pages with footers and headers

We have the same problem where I work. We use a black texta and draw a line down the middle of the page. This gives the scanner a point to pick up apart from the minimal text at the top. However, this will only work if you are happy to have a line on your scanned document!

DR 2050C

This has something to do the brightness chosen. In the manual mode, if you choose a dark output, the output will have tis area also; if you choose, lighter output, it will omit. In the auto scan mode, the scanner decides what is the best output.

Bar code reader problem

In the user manual for this device there should be a code book (or code pages), These are a selection of barcodes which you use to configure the device. One of the settings is to omit the barcode header (which indicates a type of barcode for instance a PART number might begin with P or a Serial number might begin with an S) This barcode system may have been initially programmed to omit these code letters Gareth
