Where can I find replacement parts for model C878-62 Cast Iron Fountain

It looks like it might be a UK Model. They are normally cast aluminium. You may be able to get it welded.. There are some parts suppliers in the links.

It is not recommended to use any cast iron pots or skillets on a Frigidaire smooth top. In your manual it provides the best type of cookware material and cast iron is a poor heat conductor. Due to the weight of the cast iron it can cause scratches or damage the cooktop. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

I have one in my garage the cast iron motors are different then the aluminum ones I will need the model number for the exact torque spec 60000-130000 is 140 170000-280000 is 165 Aluminum and cast Iron is 190 IN.LBS. That is correct. Viking no longer supports the Cast Iron Burners. There is an aftermarket Burner VIKU1 that comes with mounting brackets to convert older Viking Grills that used a Cast Iron Burner to be able to switch to the stainless steel burner. The large bracket attaches to the center tube and has two screw holes and screws for mounting to the rear of the housing. The two smaller brackets mount to the two holes at the rear wall of the housing and create a ledge for the end of the two tubes to rest on.

the plate as you call it is in most cases part of the burner , unless you have a parts list you may just get that one part

The clamping yokes for Bernina sewing tables for models 830 and earlier models were hand fitted parts. Welding this may change the geometry so that the table may not fit at all. Additionally the material is diecast AL, not cast iron, and may or may not accept TIG welding applications.

if grates are cast iron they can be seasoned you have to remove flaky parts with putty knife brush real well and oil if anything other then cast iron youll have to order replacements

Yes all can be replaced. They sell complete replacments at Orchards, Home Depot or Lowes. Just make sure you are getting the right parts.
