I believe it is the main power switch as it has turned somewhat black and smelled burnt when it stopped working suddenly. thank you!

nice meeting u pmulory ,first of all if your monitor is LCD its may be problem in mother board so please check it once and if it is CRT keep the monitor away from magnetic items and high electrical items like woofer,speakers,UPS etc due to that problem will occur ,yet your problem is not solved its better to change the monitor.

Hi, It sounds like the relay onyour compressor. They will smell when it goes bad. Remove the rear panel on the back of the refrigerator and see if the smell is around the compressor.

If you can't find the fuse how do you know it needs to be replaced?
The fuse will probably be located at the beginning of the circuit, so somewhere near the plug.
