Seriously... if the person has a mobile phone that receives text messages, they can get an account from any web-mail provider.

If you have a mobile phone (with text messaging):

• Gmail and Yahoo Mail will work. A text message will be sent to
  the phone for verification.
  
  If you are a close relative: child, parent, spouse, etc. and are available to help them manage verification when needed, that's OK, but DO NOT use the phone of a friend or person of convenience.
  
• Simply go to gmail.com or mail.yahoo.com and click on the link to create an account, then carefully follow the instructions on the form and pay close attention to the username which becomes the first part of the email address: e.g. [email protected]. If you are John Smith john.smith and johnsmith are already taken so you will need to try something like [email protected] or [email protected] (or some other number that makes sense and is easily remembered).
  

If you DO NOT have a mobile phone (with text messaging):

• You will probably need to get an account from outlook.com which does not insist on having a mobile phone for verification.
  
• If no phone is entered for an outlook account, an alternative email address is required for verification.
  
  If you are a close relative: child, parent, spouse, etc. and are available to help them manage verification when needed, that's OK, but DO NOT use the email address of a friend or person of convenience.
  
• Simply go to outlook.com and click on the link to create an account, then carefully follow the instructions on the form and pay close attention to the username which becomes the first part of the email address: e.g. [email protected]. assuming you have adsl/broadband coming down your phone line, you plugn the phone lead into the Thompson. If this is working you simply connect one of the LAN sockets on the Thompson to the Internet socket on the back of the Airplus.
You will need to make sure they dont both have the same IP address otherwise they won't work.
The IP address is the numbers you log into them with, eg 192.168.1.1
If they're both hte same, you'll need to log into one and change the address in the advanced settings area.

Thompson makes phones under the GE label. model numbers end with EE1 EE2 EE3 EE4 which indicate the total number of handsets in the package you bought, so the manual for EE2 EE3 EE4 are the same thing. here is a link to the EE3 manual:

use another computer that is wired to the router.
log into the router and get the wep code.
to get to the router page to login.
open a command windows
start/run/ cmd
type : ipconfig
that gives you the default gateway address.
put this gateway number in your browser address window and login.

Well fastest, quickest and dirtiest would be to get a network cable plug it into the back of the thompson router and DMZ the MAC address or IP address the Xbox pulls.

That's the fastest, quickest and dirtiest.

For reference on your router, look up DMZ in it's manual and follow the directions. Go into the Xbox and have it give you either the MAC address or the IP address it pulls. Enter that information in the DMZ and you should be set.
