The problem may be the SD card if it's am micro or more than 32 GB it is incompatible with the camera

here is the note from the manual for pixpro AZ421

A standard SD memory card is not included in the camera packaging and needs to be purchased separately. This camera takes a standard (SD/SDHC) memory card. We recommend using a name brand memory card that is Class 4 or higher and has a capacity of 4GB to 32GB. The camera is not compatible with Micro SD, Ultra, Ultra Plus, Extreme, XC, or adapters for any of these other memory cards.

SOURCE: Won't format new memory card

Your camera is not SDHC compatible. It will only support standard SD cards. Sorry.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Kodak c310 camera won't format new SD 2GB card old card same size

Older C310s won't take that large a card. Try to exchange it for a 1 GB or smaller. I had the same problem - a PNY 1 GB works fine

SOURCE: I cannot format my brand new memory card in my Kodak Easyshare.

Believe the 4 GB card is too large for this camera and internal camera software was not designed to format or manage so much memory.. try a fast SD under 2 GB.

SOURCE: Kodak Z740 camera sd card formatting problem

Remove the card...turn on the camera and go into the menu...find "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then try to format the card again.

SOURCE: kodak cx7530 camera refuses to

Your camera was not built to take the new SDHC cards. You can only use SD cards up to 2GB.

Pixpro az401. Why doesn't it format 128GB SD card?

Because that card is Waaaay beyond the specs! Did you read the manual??

The memory card (SD/SDHC) is
optional and not included in all
camera packaging. It needs to be
purchased separately. Please use an
original memory card which is Class
4 or higher and has a capacity of

4GB to 32GB.

How to fix my Kodak Pixpro AZ421? The LCD display shuts off right after powering on.

Parts are not sold to the public, so the best thing to do is send it in for an exchange program or replace it.

Just bought a kodak pixpro digital camera fz43 and it says memory full do i have to buy a sd card to get that off and if so how much do they cost

If the camera manual states it takes an SD card, then that is what you want. Be careful and do not get an SDHC card if the camera cannot utilise it - your camera manual should help with this.

Kodak pixpro az251 - no matter what I push the screen flashes "write protect!" What's this mean?

This probably refers to the SD card. On an SD card there is a switch at the side which can be moved to protect the card contents (locked or write protect) or permit writing to the card (unlocked). Just move this to the unlocked position.

Camera will not read memory card

Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 2 GB)

The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card.
You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.1: Menu, Cam settings, Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

My kodak M753 camera will not format ANY memory card. I have tried all kinds of cards. It just keeps telling me over and over that memory card needs to be formatted. It will say it is reading card then...

The lever on your SD card might be turned the wrong way so it is reading protective. Pls. turn the lever.

Your camera Memory card support is: SD/MMC up to 2 Gigabyte.
If you use any other card. the camera could give you a message like the one you're experiencing.

Try with a different SD card that is supported by the camera.
