Looking for Dell 3100CN Service Manual

Apparently others have tried to obtain a service manual for that model, and one was not available. Frustration was expressed, but it did not result in obtaining a service manual for that model.

Here is another approach to try for repairing it. Perhaps a service manual for a similar model, since your is from 2013, would be helpful. Go to the Dell Home User Support web site and take a look at the options given under Product Support in the left side column.

For example, if you click on Manuals the web site will then ask you to identify your specific Dell laptop by either giving the Service Tag or selecting it by model - you can then see what manuals are available for your specific laptop - in particular you want to look for a Service or Repair Manual that would then give you instructions on how to replace your cracked screen and details of the part numbers involved.
