SMEG oven DUC04SS Alarm just TICKS quietly instead of Beeping about 90% of the time. I understand how to change the volume on the alarm. Any suggestions please?

Maybe u should contact ur retailer or the manufacture helpline and tell them your problem they might be able to tell what's wrong.

SOURCE: JVM1490 IS BEEPING EVERY 4-5 MIN ONE BEEP

The manual states that it will beep once a minute after food cooks until you open the door or press stop. Other than that, it sounds like an error condition. But you might contact the GE Answer Center at 1-800-626-2005 Monday 6 a.m. ET through Saturday midnight ET.
