Hi! I recently chenged my T.v. service provider and now I need to change the remote that I use from a Prima remote to a Distributel remote. How do I do that?

Step 1:

Step 4:
Press the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, themode light flashes three times.

Doing so is probably a violation of the service-contract between you and your cable-modem-using Internet Service Provider.

Try pressing the TV button on the Prima remote to make it work on the TV. It should work on the Prima Tv without new codes. Codes would be needed for your cable box.
Consider calling Prima at 866-447-7462 for the codes. They should have a website for the codes or email you the codes for free.

sounds like you need a new remote. that circuit board is not too happy when it's crushed in like that. You might be able to make it work, but don't count on it.
