Sounds like a defective battery! I'd contact the manufactuer's Custom service and ask them to replace your battery, there's a good possibility they will, and most likely for free or a minimal charge. If it's fairly new take it back to the store and exchange it, but the manufacturer will be a good bet if that's not possible, it may still be under warranty! Thanks and have a Great Day! Best of Luck! See picture below please!

SOURCE: Battery will charge to 100% only 50%

Its probably because of your tablets power source. If you have used your tablet very often then it will begin to cause the battery to drain more quickly and it will also not fully charge. It could also be a problem with your charger. There could be a short in it or something else that would cause it to stop charging the device at a certain point. The tablet isn't powered by a removable battery so don't try to open up the back and tear out any circuit that you think is the battery as this may cause even more damage to your tablet. If you have a warranty on the device then try taking it to the store you bought it from and see if they can help, but if you don't then be prepared to spend some cash. You could also take it to a tech store (if you know of one) and maybe they could run a diagnostic on the tablet to see what's wrong. If you're trying to charge your tablet while its turned on it could also be the amount of apps that you have installed on your device. Apps can actually cause put a strain on the battery and cause it to preform poorly. Try to avoid large apps (apps that take up a lot of space) because they can actually cause the device to run slower and it will also force more power to be drained from the battery which in turn will keep the battery from charging fully while its on. Try either one to see which one works for your device.

SOURCE: How can I get my Samsung Galaxy Tablet to turn on. The battery is fully charged.

There is usually a method such as holding the on button for a longer period of time. If it is easy to do the other thing that I've found with all sorts of "smart" devices which turn "not-so-smart" is to remove the battery for a minute or so, then put it back in. Many times the unit will turn on as soon as the battery is reinstalled and work correctly again after that. Last ditch effort, unless someone knows about the Galaxy, is a hard reset, there may be a reset button somewhere on the unit, I don't think the Galaxy has a reset button. If the unit still does not turn on it may need servicing.
1. Try the on button for 15 - 20 seconds if you know it is charged
2. Try charging for an hour or two then the 15-20 second hold on button, #1 above.
3. Removed battery (I'd measure the battery voltage while I have it out) wait ~1 - 2 minutes & reinstall the battery. If it doesn't turn on by itself try #1.
4. Nothing works start a service ticket with Samsung, URL:
http://support-us.samsung.com
You might try searching there as well for an answer to see if there's anything I missed.

Samsung galaxy tab a model sm-t350 reboots by itself

Sorry about this:
DIY option will be for you to try Factory Reset.
The OS has probably developed a problem.
*please note that Factory Reset WIPES your tablet clean of all your personal information, data or stored media.

Another option is to change the battery and see if the same self-reboot persists.

Last option is to get your tablet to a phone/tablet repair/service point for professional checkup.

Tablet is fully charged but tablet keep shutting off

Are you absolutely sure that the battery is fully charged? How old is it? Batteries do wear out and it is not uncommon for you to get a fully charged indication when in fact the battery is bogus. Use tablet just with adapter. If it stays on then it is definitely the battery. If it also turns off then you have a serious issue with your tablet.

My son's tablet is less than 4 months old and it keeps shutting off even when fully charged. It is a 9 inch nextbook and was purchased at Walmart.

Hold the volume UP botton down when it is OFF, then while holding that button down press and hold the power on button and keep both pressed for about 10 seconds. Then release.

My tablet keeps shutting down, even when fully charged. Why?

It may be caused by your SIM card or something, or they are getting old, and out of use. Either way you should get an electrician or someone to look at it, and see if it is something to do with the inside works or something else.

I hope you found that a bit useful, and I'm sorry it isn't, as this is my first time, and I wanted to help. :) Good luck!

How do you know when Kendle fire battery is dead

If this is a first generation Kindle Fire, then you are in good company, and the problem may not be the battery itself (which is good, b/c the battery is not user replaceable, at least for non-techies). Refusal to charge is apparently a very common problem, which seems to have multiple contributing factors. The charging port sometimes gets 'loose' or dirty, so I would suggest trying that first. Vacuum or blow out any dust/dirt, then look at it under a bright light and perhaps with a magnifying glass to see whether any portion is bent or twisted. If all looks OK, then I would try plugging it in and gently moving the cable around a bit to see whether the charge light goes on and off. If so, you might be able to still charge it by 'propping' the cable to gently nudge it in the direction that causes it to connect. This is a relatively short-term solution, as it will eventually stop working. Another problem seems to be in the 'programming' inside the Kindle, such that, under certain conditions, even with a good charger and cable, it will not take a charge. A common trick, when this seems to be the case, is to ensure that it has fully shut down before trying to charge. For some reason, if it is fully shut down, it is more likely to 'accept' a charge. Push the power button (with the charge cable unplugged) and hold it for at least 20 seconds. After that, it should be fully shut down. Then connect the cable and look for the orange light. If you get it, then leave it alone (verify it stays on when you lay it down, and 'prop' as needed) and preferably leave it to charge all day or all night, or until you see the charge light has turned green. If none of that is successful, and especially if you cannot get the charging light to come on no matter what you do, then try a new cable (cheap ones won't do) and/or a new charger. Borrow from a good friend for a cheap test. We just gave up on ours, after several months of nursing it along using various methods. It is a shame, because the device (except for weight and thickness) has been fantastic for my wife and then my daughter. I hope you manage to get a lot more time from yours!
