The faucet is rated at 6.7L/minute (<2 gal/m) and I would expect that's a design of the cartridge. You could measure flow with spray head attached, then remove head (see link) and measure again to see how much the head reduces rate of flow. You could try removing the check valve(s) but not sure if that will work as it may leak.

product features · consists of: single lever kitchen mixer · swivel range 150° · with telescopic function (330 - 500 mm) · normal and spray jet · lockable shower spray, spray returns through pressing spray diverter · quick connect shower hose · flow rate 6.7 l/min · ceramic cartridge · connection type: G ? compression · integrated non-return valve · suitable for continuous flow water heaters

SOURCE: cross handle hansgrohe faucet I can't remove top piece

Use a rubber glove between the strap wrench and the fixture. It is a little monkey business but keeps the strap from slipping.

SOURCE: How do I remove knob from Hansgrohe shower faucet?

Depends on the model, there's usually an allen screw holding the knob on, this can be hid under a little chrome cover or under an unscrewable lever.

SOURCE: stiff cold water handle bathroom Hansgrohe

If the handle is hard to turn it is most commonly caused by water deposits in the handle or in the cartridge below. I would try removing the handle to ensure it turns freely when not installed on the faucet. If not you can clean it with CLR to remove the water deposits that are making it difficult to turn. If the handle turns freely when not installed you will need to remove the cartridge and inspect it to ensure it is not broken or damaged in any way. There could be debris in the cartrige that has either made it hard to turn or broken the ceramic disks. Our handles are easily removed by turning the bell shaped ecutcheon below the lever or cross handle. There are not set screws that hold them on. I have an older hansgrohe kitchen faucet. I am experiencing low water flow from hot water only. The restriction appears to be within the faucet. Thoughts? Solutions? Thx, Albert

I would suggest that if the low flow is affecting the hot water only that the filter is restricted where the tap plumbing joins the house plumbing. The filter is in a small housing which is right next to the house plumbing. Turn off the hot water supply and ensure the mixer is in the off position. Disconnect the hose adjacent to the house plumbing using a 19mm and also a 10mm spanner to stop the thin hose twisting. Then use a 13mm spanner to unscrew the filter housing.

I need a water restricter

Most manufacturers of faucets and shower heads install flow restriction devices at the factory when building the products. These devices are proprietary in most cases and are made to be difficult to remove and in some cases removal will damge the product. There may be some after market flow restriction devices that are made to be installed between the shower arm and shower head but I am unaware of any specific models or brands. If you need help with any Hansgrohe products feel free to contact Technical services at 1-800-334-0455.

Low water pressure from hansgrohe faucet

Low flow is a debris driven issue. If the flow is lower on the hot or cold side then you will most likely find the debris in the hot or cold supply line leading up to the faucet. If the flow is the same between hot and cold you will find the debris in the faucet between the cartridge and the spout or sprayer. The actions you will need to take to get to the debris will vary depending on model and type of faucet. I would need to identify the faucet before I can give instructions on clearing the debris and restoring the flow of the unit. If you need help in identifying the faucet feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe Technical Services 1-800-334-0455 press 2 for Tech and ask for David.

Calcuim build-up in Hansgrohe 06128830 - what is best fix? (CLR Rx done)

It sounds like you have already checked the obvious places at the cartridge and the filter screen at the end of the hose. If you have good flow through the hose with out the sprayer attached I would suggest the blockadge was in the sprayer. If you look into the hand sprayer from the hose connection you will see a yellow ring with a white plastic flap in the middle. This is the first check valve as well as the flow restriction device. This little assembly can be removed [for cleaning] by pushing in on the white plastic part and hooking the yellow ring and simply pulling it straight back and out of the handsprayer. A cork screw or dental pick works well for this. Once removed you will need to hold this little assembly over something other than the sink and unsnap the grey end from the yellow housing. You will most likely find some debris in this little grey end around the spring at the flow restriction device. This is common after a water heater replacement due to the amount of debris stirred up during the flushing process. Once cleaned you will need to reassemble and reinstall the check valve assembly for proper function of the unit. If you need any further help feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe. 1-800-334-0455. Hansgrohe ecostat not at full water flow

The most likely cause for a decrease in flow on the Ecostat mixer is debris in the filter screens. Try removing the thermostatic cartridge and cleaning the filter screens on the the cartridge. Doing so will most likely resolve the low flow issue. If you need instructions feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe Tech. 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for Tech and ask for David Scarborough. I'll be happy to provide instructions for the Ecostat mixer.

Hansgrohe shower head water leaking out of connector

Is it a Grohe or Hansgrohe shower head? If it is a Hansgrohe shower head the first thing to check is if the self sealing filter gasket is installed at the connection to the shower arm. Hansgrohe shower heads have a black self sealing filter gasket in the head that some people remove assuming it is a flow restriction device. It is only a filter and does not restrict flow unless clogged with debris. Next make sure the flow restriction device below the filter gasket is still installed. On some models removing the flow restrictor will cause water to be expressed from the air injection ports near the pivot ball. Feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe. 1-800-334-0455.
