SOURCE: brake lines are bad going to the rear end ofmy 94

you must replace the lines themselves, you CANNOT use a compression fitting and cut away the bad part, either replace the whole line or find a good spot cut and double flare the line so you can use a union fitting sorry no shortcuts

SOURCE: On my Mongoose i tred to fix a rear flat and when

1. You need to make sure the tube doesnt have more than one piercings [inflate the tube and, using a bucket of clear water, immerse it and observe any air outlets. if you have a pen or marker, mark them] 2. Make sure the valve of the tube really is tight enough. If it isnt, use a valve spanner to tighten it, but make sure you dont do it too hard, or else it will snap.
3. You'll need to check the tyre for any sharp objects that could have got stuck in it and are causing new punctures 4. You need to make sure that both the tube and patch are course enough to be glued to each other when you apply the contact adhesive to them. 5. When you apply the adhesive, depending on the brand, you wont need to 'immediately stick the two surfaces together, let a bit of fresh air dry them a bit, [this would imply waiting for minute or 2] then patch things up

Mongoose ledge 2.2 mtb has front disc brakes but v brake on rear. Has frame adapters for disc brake caliper but has standard wheel no qr. Is it possible to install disc rotors on the wheel?

No, you cannot add disc rotors to a non-disc wheel, and in any case the rear wheel does not do much of the braking work.

I have a mercedes ml 270 cdi 2002 and when I move off from a stand still I get the dash lit up like a Christmas tree with abs/epc/bas and warning triangle along with brake light and goes into limp mode, I...

Sounds like you have a speed sensor problem. Possibly input or output shaft speed sensor on transmission. You will need to find out what fault codes are being set and proceed from there.

How to adjust brakes on the mongoose mode 100

Two places for adjustment. First is at the end of the brake lever. This is the minor adjustment. The second is the major adjustment, its located at the brake. For this one, you'll need some tools. The cable need to be loosened, then with a pliers the slack in the cable is removed and the bolt is retightened. You may want to take it to a bike shop for this repair.

What is the crank bearing size??

Almost all Mongoose models use the standard BSA 68.
I would write a question to them at:
http://mongoosebikes.net/mongoose-bmx-bike/20-mongoose-mode-270-v2-freestyle-bmx-bike/
This bearing should not fail during the normal life of the bicycle, unless the rider weight is over 80 Kg.

My brakes work when sitting still, but will not stop bicycle in motion/under power

There are multiple possible reasons:
1. Brake caliper is not adjusted so pads are within 1/8" or so of rim (rim should be straight enough to allow that).
2. Brake pads are old and hardened.
3. Too much friction in brake cable and housing
4. Brake cable housing is too long, allowing too much flex.
5. If brake levers have been replaced wrong levers were installed.

p.a. It is helpful to know whether a problem is new, has developed gradually over time, or has always been there, and if any maintenance or event occurred just before the problem began.
