My CVA620 machine asks to "expel air " but

keep holding the hot water button down until you get a steady stream of water with no air. if you continue to get the error message after the water comes out, you will need to check the flow meter. if water never comes out, you have a leak inside the machine, a pump issue, or a blockage in the water path. That machine uses the same pump for steam and hot water, so if your steam is working, your pump is probably good. Blockages usually occur from not descaling properly. That machine is prone to leak at the hose fittings. the original o rings were black rubber, and failed fairly early. the replacements are red silicone and last much longer.

The seal on pressure cooker #99700 leaks after pressure builds up and a dangerous amount of steam is expelled . we were almost scaled by the steam.

Hi,

make sure the pressure relief valve is working, not blocked etc, if it's OK try replacing the seal.

Thanks,

Adam.

Window shows "Expel Air" message.

Fill the water tank.
- Turn the program selector to "On with
light" and place containers below the
hot water dispenser and the steam
nozzle.
- Press the hot water button, turn the
steam selector counterclockwise
and let water run out until it streams
steadily.
- Press the hot water button again.
Turn the steam selector to "o" to shut
off the water.

Bissel pro heat cleaner won't expell water -- seems no suction

The reason that it won't expel water is because your pump belt is stretched and worn. You need to replace that belt, it is pretty easy. Here is the belt you need:

My Miele CVA620 machine announces 'Expel Air,' and

I'm probably to late for this answer, but I will share it anyway.
I got this problem after buying a used CVA620, that had not been used for a while.
To solve the problem i used a breast pump :-)
My wife had this doublepump after the last kid. And I used the hoses that comes with this unit (rubber-like) and connecting them to the hot-water and the steam-nozzles. I started pumping, and pushed the hotwaterbutton. After 5min of pumping and swearing, the job was done. No my CVA works as a charm again :-)

Expel Air

Expel air is a common problem, but if the manual's method doesn't work, it can mean only one thing, the pump is not working. You should hear the pulsing of the pump while in expel air mode. If not the pump or its circuit is suspect. The parts are SAECO and available without paying Miele's ridiculous markups.
