I stalled new ice maker water flows to dispenser mone to ice tray
Have you reset the icemaker? Usually there's a lever or switch that you have press to reset it. You did not post the make/model of your fridge so it's difficult to say which reset device you have.
There is a water control valve that controls where the water goes after it's hooked up to the supply line behind the refrigerator. This valve has a solenoid on each output, one to water dispenser, one to icemaker. It sounds like the solenoid that controls the icemaker water supply is bad (not uncommon). You need to replace the valve (around $80).

My amana sxd25s2w side by side, water dispener just stopped working all at once. I hear a click when pushing the bar, and the light goes on but no water. Also the ice maker is over flowing when it fills the tray. Are these 2 things related and I would like to replace the filter for the water , where can I find that. Please help!

Thanks for the question There is a water valve just for the ice maker so the problem could be there if you have a volt meter you can check the valve what you can do to check the valve reverse the wires onthe valve and push your water dispenser if no water goes into your ice maker . you have a bad valve replace thanks for the question The appliance doc

Ice maker has adjustment on right side of power head. If ice maker is inside on upper left, you can remove white cover from it and the adjusting screw in on right. Turning counter-clockwise will decrease fill by 1/2 to 3/4 of ounce. Sounds like a small amount, but ice make only uses 4 ounces per fill. If this does not fix, try replacing fill valve. If ice maker ice bin is in the freezer door, you have to remove cover to ice maker in the top of freezer. Ice maker is screwed into top of freezer and need to be removed to take off cover to adjuster screw. same procedure for reducing water flow time as above.

remove cube tray from ice maker. clean with limeaway adn rinse. Spray with a light coating of PAM cooking spray. wipe dry and reinstall. be careful not to damage the sensor ( in center of tray)
