SOURCE: the coffee grinder on my Magic Comfort Plus is not

Hi Sounds like you have a blockage in you grind passage. Try removing the brew group. Then inside on the roof of the machine where the brew unit was setting there is a drop chute where the coffee is dropped into the brew unit. From the left side of the drop chute pull down and back, and it will drop coffee. This will clear an opening that relieves pressure on the passage. There is a passage inside the drop chute area that goes to the grinder. Vacuum it out. It will be on the right side of the drop chute. Once that is cleared go to the bean hopper. There is a lever under the bean hopper. Push the lever back to the largest number. You can push the lever to a larger number any time, but it has to be grinding to pull to a smaller number. Now replace everything and make your coffee. Once you have made your coffee you can pull back to a number that was higher than the one you had it on, but only when the grinder is running.

I have the same problem. Not a solution, but you can still take the ground beans and brew coffee, using the pre-ground compartment.

I have a saeco royal my machine is grinding beans but will not stop

Your question is not right.
Grinder stops on its own in 16 to 18 seconds (times out).
It may not be grinding beans an spinning free because the beans are not feeding.
You may have used oily beans or set the grind fineness at very fine powder like. This powder like fineness also clogs the grinder..
You need to clean the grinding chamber and the ground coffee outlet.

Bean hopper is full, machine starts to grind the coffee but right before it starts to pull the shot, it stops & says "add beans to hopper".

the add beans to hopper signal most likely is triggered by the machine not sensing enough load put on the grinder (hence it thinks its out of beans) , this most likely is set by the grind (fine/course ) id say the grind is set to an improper size and the automatic sensor is picking up on that
another thing is the coffee / if its way too moist and not dry enough then its also going to trip the sensor as well

Coffee grinder is not grinding beans fine enough

Try it with less beans, or the motor is not running at full speed, no other fix

Saeco primera ring, will not grind coffee, high piched sound as if there are no coffee beans to grind. Its also indicates out of coffee and of course there is coffee bean the hopper in it.

Sounds like the grind is too fine and the beans are not able to get to the burrs, try adjusting 2-3 numbers coarser. Remember only adjust when the grinder is running.

Either the grind is too fine or the brew unit is blocked at the screen.

Saeco Italia coffee too weak - grindes too coarse

Remove beans from chamber, then remove the 2-3 screws in the chamber, then lift hopper slightly and turn adjustment knob towards the middle number, or halfway between fine and coarse. Then lower hopper make sure the gears line up together, set screws add beans and adjust finer.
