Try disconnecting the AC power from the wall and reconnect after two minutes.

SOURCE: Can't start the dishwasher, lock button is lit up.

Hello Albert, On the Jenn-Air dishwasher you have, you have to hold down the "Heated Dry" button for 3-5 seconds to unlock the control panel.

This should unlock the controls so you can again use the dishwasher normally.

Since you''re likely going to have this dishwasher for some time, I've included a link where you can download a free owner's manual for it.

I would print out a copy for your future use and reference. I also have a file on my computer that I title "Home Appliances and Equipment" which is where I download and save an electronic copy so I always have a backup copy saved, since manuals aren't always readily available on the web, as the appliances get older.

http://www.jennair.com/assets/product/6_920374_A.PDF

The info on locking and unlocking the dishwasher can be found on page 13 of the manual.

I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Testimonial: "Thanks for the detailed info about my question, VtToolMan, I greatly appreciate it. However, I tried to unlock it that way, but it didn't work. "

I have a whilrpool frontloader and it is stuck on "control locked" how do I unlock it?

Look for the End of Cycle button on the control panel then press and hold it for 3 seconds or until the Control Locked indicator turns off. There's actually a marking under the button saying "Hold for 3 Seconds to Lock/Unlock Control". Unplug the machine for at least 30 minutes to forcibly reset the control and to eliminate the possibility of an electronic glitch if pressing and holding the End of Cycle button does not work. Replace the control if unplugging and the pressing the End of Cycle button fails to unlock it.

Machine is stuck in control lock

This feature allows you to lock your settings to prevent unintended use of the dryer. You can also use the Control Locked feature to prevent unintended cycle or option changes during dryer operation.

To enable the Control Locked feature when dryer is running:

Press and hold the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds.
The control is locked when a single beep is heard and the Control
Locked status light is on.When the dryer is off,it is not necessary
to press the Control On button before activating the Control Locked
feature.

To unlock:

Press and hold the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds to turn this feature off.

NOTE:

When the dryer is running and Control Locked is on, the dryer can be
stopped by pressing the Pause/Cancel button, but can't be restarted
until the control is unlocked.

GHW9100LQ1 machine stuck in control lock mode

Press and hold the "END OF CYCLE SIGNAL" button for three seconds and it will unlock the control panel. At least, I think that is the button for the Whirlpool Duet. If you look closely at the front panel, it will clearly state "Press and Hold for 3 Seconds to Lock" on one of the panel buttons (should be all the way to the RIGHT HAND SIDE). This button is designed as a safety feature to prevent small children from being able to operate the washer and inadverntenty getting locked inside the unit. If holding the button fails, unplug the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. I hope this helps.
