Sounds like a power supply capacitor problem. sometimes when a TV warms up the power capacitors start "leaking"( not literally) and break down causing a low/ no voltage situation, open the back of the TV look for expanded or "bloated" capacitors, then replace same.

The red arrow should represent a recent missed call. To get rid of it, press the left soft key when you are at the home (standby) screen to enter the calls menu. Press the return (arrow) key on your phone to return to the home screen and the arrow should have disappeared.

That is what I was going yo suggest. You can also adjust the picture size. "Just" will show all of the picture even the distortions on the edges. "Full" will in effect overscan and trim those edges off.

As per the user manual page 13, the globe with the lock means you are browsing a secure web page. The lock icon is not dissimilar to the icon you see when on secure websites on your desktop.

When you get vertical lines from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen, it means you have bad LCD panel, you need the new one. It will get worst with more lines as time goes by.
