SOURCE: how do you oil a nailer?
first off some nail guns do not need to be oiled, but the gun you have listed does need to be oiled you just drip a few drops of oil in the hole where the air hose connects to the gun, but make sure that you are useing the right oil make sure it is pneumatic oil for air nailers. the gun should have came with some oil if it was bought new if not you can get the oil at Lowes, Home Depot, or any other home improvement store

check the safty shaft and see if something could be under trigger safty causeing it to fire.

drive pin o ring is shot. deair the gun remove top pull drive pin replace oring oil the heck out of it and go to work

last things first, give it about 6 drops of oil before use in the morning and again after lunch. then try going to Bostitch.com and downloading a manual. the plug might be the air fitting that you need to connect it to a hose. Let me know if you need more help.
