Could be one of many small things. Try unplugging the machine for a few minutes.
Check that the water is on.
Check that the drain hose is not obstructed.
Check that the lint trap is clean.
If all else fails Read this attached manual and corresponding troubleshooting guide on page 15. http://argos.scene7.com/is/content/Argos/4780948_R_D001pdf

Hi newbie here with no real knowledge of washing machines I have a Bush a126Q washing machine that just won't work help!!!! The start button an action button flash as shown below in pic. This has been...

Hi,
Because it doesn't have an LCD screen it has 'flash codes' instead of fault codes.

But,
before you do anything else, turn the machine off & unplug it or switch-off the socket switch.
Leave it for an hour, before plugging-in & switching on again.
Whilst it's turned-off, take out the filter again & see if there is anything stopping the water pump from turning. It is usually located directly behind where the filter is.

Because you've cleaned the filter, it might be enough to re-set the machine.

If it doesn't, you'll need to count the flashes.
There's a short space between a sequence of flashes.
Once you know how many times it's flashing, you google;
Bush A126Q flash codes
That should tell you where the washer thinks it's problem lies.?

Best of luck

Bush IDLCD26TV16HD blue flashing light?

It is on protection mode due to some defects on the board. Switch off the TV manually, remove the plug and cool it off for 48 hours and retry. If nothing works, better refer it to a qualified service technician.

My bush washing model no:a126q will not start

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens, or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place, sorry but with such a fault it is impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.

I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Washer is Kenmore He2 model # 110.46462501

Hi,
It sounds like you have something stuck in the pump.
To repair
Unplug machine.
Remove bottom front panel(remove 2-3 screws in the bottom) Pull bottom of panel out and down to remove.
Towards the center bottom you will see the pump. On the front is a round thing that resembles a filter. This is the pump filter screen...Get a shallow pan to put under screen. Turn lid counter clockwise to remove(turn slowly and allow water to drain. As you may need to dump pan several times before all water is drained out. Be carful or you could end up with water everywhere. Once the water is drained pull out screen and remove the debris and objects stuck in screen and filter housing you should also be able to see the impeller on the pump inspect for debris. Once everything is cleaned out reverse removal procedures put back together.

Washing machine keeps stopping with an SE error code flashing on the screen

Hi tifffog, we have the same problem, is it a b1245, we've had ours over 3 years and ours started doing this on 23 Nov 09. alot of solutions say it needs a new pump. The bushes were fine on the motor, and if you need new bushes you have to buy the full motor. Have a look at the pump first.

Hi gege01!

Yes, you DO need a special tool to properly install the bushings, but you might be able to improvise a bushing screw-press with some allthread, nuts, fat washers, and some appropriately sized pipe section or sockets, one wide enough to accept the bushing for engaging the control arm, the other small enough to fully engage the bushing head.
Lubricate the bushing with silicone grease, run the allthread (double nutted securely in place at the end) through (in this order) a large washer, the larger diameter pipe section, the control arm bushing mounting hole, the new bushing center hole, the smaller diameter pipe section, washers large enough to fully engage the smaller pipe section, and finally attach another nut to hold the whole thing together. Holding the double nutted end, tighten the other nut to slowly compress the new bushing into the control arm.
Some guys do it with sockets and big hammers, but they generally end up with damaged bushings and smashed fingers!
Hope this helps and good luck!
