Press and hold the TIME SET button (for more than 3 seconds) and press "+" and "-" to "INCREASE" (+) and "DECREASE" (-) to the hour. Press the TIME SET button again to set the minutes and use the "+" and "-" to "INCREASE" (+) and "DECREASE" (-) the minutes. Press the TIME SET button again to set the Year, Month and Day

Hey, OK so you know how when you plug the clock in it takes like 5 minutes to upload? Well wait till you have the time set the atomic thing stops flashing. Now when you get there press the button on the inside of the outside temperature thing. Not the c/f one. The red dot should flash on the front of the thing your holding. It should work after that. If not then make sure you don't have any computers or cell phones by it that messes with it. Hope this helps.

Also note if projection does not work correctly, Ken posted an elegant solution: holding down hour and minute unplug and plug back in (still holding down hour and minute). Made mine work!
