Anybody know what is a smarthead for a jet pump

A leak or an issue with whatever senses the pressure.

check for paper jammed in fuser assy, u need to reset error code by pressing smarthead then 2and 8 SAME TIME then smarthead should go into service mode press copier then function then err ok then off on

replace the pressure switch

The locking lever on the pump should stick out when you're pumping, and lie flat against the body of the pump when it's released.

If that doesn't work, try tightening the nut on the head of your pump - if it's too loose or too tight, the rubber will not seal properly against the valve stem. Also make sure the head is firmly seated against the valve (press it in firmly) before flipping the locking lever up.

It looks like you have the SmartHead on this pump. If not, make sure two parts inside the head (one plastic, one rubber) are flipped the right way. If it's set for a Presta valve and you're trying to inflate a Schrader, or vice versa, it will leak (or it simply won't fit). If you have the SmartHead, you don't need to worry about this step, it automatically adapts.
