Check igniter! You don't have the right spark? Lots of times it will short out & you can see the sparking elsewhere other than just at the gap at top of the igniter. The other thing to check is ensure that the orifice is completely clean at the pilot burner. A clean pilot orifice and the proper spark will ignite the heater.
make sure it has enough flow and also voltage at pilot generator (red and white wires from pilot). should be around 500millivolts for the gas valve to open.
pump must be running. or filter is plugged. or pad pressure switch it's located on the plumbing inside of the heater and has 2 wires going to it., you might lightly tap it with a screwdriver LIGHTLY ! or just replace it there a fairly cheap item around $20 Jay the pool pump motor repair guy longwood fl
Check the hose going from the fan housing to the control board. I found that it was very loose at the fan connection; wrapped a thin strip of masking tape around the barb, reconnected the hose and it works fine now.
Turn the Battery around. Or if that has been tried,
Lightly Bend the terminals that lay on top or under the battery. They shoud make contact with the battery on the top or bottom. And on the side.
From looking around, you can get replacenet parts for the DS. Its a little tricky though. Do you have any friends that mess around with building and moding computers? They may be able tohelp you
