On loss of utility power, Koehler residential generator (new) automatically starts up but then shuts down within seconds with ac sens loss fault; only behaves like that on loss of utility power.

I would think it's not wired in right. The Shore power sensor circuit may be tied in to Generator power. Control panel would bypass this shore power sensing circuit.

Cooling fan cannot get started by itself once it starts....if you give it a little touch it will start. Could it be the fan motor?

Hello,
Yes that sound exacly like a bad motor,by giving it a little help and it starts and runs that means power is at fan motor to let it run,it would not run if power wasnt there so since power is there everything else is fine and sending power to fanmotor and it just wont start. By replacing that fan it will run byself without and help. Reply back with EXACT model number and i'll give you the part number so you can get replacement motor. and while i think its the freezer fan motor your talking about?is it the freezer fan or the one by the compressor?

Will not start battery and alternator is good will only start if jumped and shuts off while running after car is jumped started.

Make SURE battery and alternator are good because battery starts the car but car runs on alternator power once its started. If alternator is not putting out the power needed, car will die once the battery power is dead or removed.

Starts but then dies but run if started with power pack

Alternator might be bad take it off and take it to an autoparts store they usally test it for free. Its obviously not getting enough power, check all the ground cables in the engine compartment. If anything try a stronger battery like Duralast Gold.
