Need the year of manufacturing date on a winchester model 140 12 gauge shotgun #n1021744

I am going to make a SWAG and say your Model is a 1400, and the "n" in the serial number indicates it was made after 1968. There are no good date lists for Winchester arms.

Hi There,.....when was the Cooey 12 gauge made with numbers 71311

Generally speaking they were in business from 1919 through 1979. Good luck on finding out much beyond that. They were successful enough to have been in production for 60 years.

I have a J. Stevens Arms & Tool 12 gauge shotgun, Model 520 series, and the serial number is 29472. Been in my family, and I was wondering what year it was made?

Take a look at the Blue Book of Gun Values at a nearby gun shop. Someone there will be able to help you. I can tell you they made a ton of these shotguns over the years, and it is not likely to hold any collector value. This is a good field gun for hunting.
