This is a Kenmore Elite Oasis Washer, Total Care Flex, King Size Capacity Plus, Quiet Pak 2. No matter the size of the load placed in the washer, it displays the "ol" code at or around the time the cycle reaches rinse. Since this error code is displayed even with just a few items loaded, reducing the size of the load isn't an option. Any thoughts on how to repair will be most appreciated. As of now, I turn off the machine, make sure the clothes are evenly distributed around the washer tub, turn on the power, set the load type, and choose rinse and spin. This begins a 15 minute cycle that finishes normally and I can then remove the clothes and place them in the dryer. TIA Patricia M
If the washer is roaring during spin, the bearings are bad and you will need to replace the outer tub assembly.
Here is the part to order.
The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return.

I searched using Google.com and found the following lengthy technical discussion of repairs that might be relevant to your ol code.

Terry you link doesn’t work and I really need an answer to this question as my washer is now doing the same thing. Tried all the tricks, unplugging it, checked the drain hose. Nothing is working.
