Believe it or not, unplug the power from the wall for at least 60 seconds. Then plug back in and power up the unit and eject the DVD. Sometimes you need to do this 3 times before it works. My complaint is that I need to do this for 95% of the DVD's I insert and then try to eject. This is clearly a manufacturer's defect...

This is a common problem for all combo units. The high voltage of the TV section attracts large amounts of particulate dust from the air and often it collects inside the DVD unit. The best way to deal with this is to clean the lens of the DVD unit u sing a cotton swab and alcohol. The store bought "cleaners" MAY work, but that is rare. These cleaners are nothing but small brushes embedded into a disc. They attempt to brush off hte dust. This rarely works. Open up the unit (if you feel comfortabel in doing so) to access the DVD section. Remove the top cover and carefully clean the lens. That should resolve the problem.

try while tv is playing unplug it to reset it,, if that dont work your belt or head on player bad or need lining up
