Did you try the Krups web site for the manual? First place I'd go.

Testimonial: "customer manuals have nothing about this. I have older model EA8005 that looks almost same, but seems shortcut menu for grind time adjustment is not the same, thus asking"

How do i make my krups 8250 grind less coffee per cup

Your machine makes 4 levels of coffee. Espresso, strong espresso, coffee and long coffee. The strength is controlled by the knob on the front of the machine. Page 7 in the user manual.

Krups EA8108 70/70F factory reset. thaks

Try this, remove the tank, the drip tray, the bin on the side and the sliding thing above the bin. Hold down the on and steam buttons while plugging the machine into a live socket, it's either that or the same again but holding down the on button and the program button while plugging it in. You will get a screen that says something like " Remis a something vende" which is French for put it into sale state, you choose "Oui" for yes. It's been a long time since I've done one but that's as best as I can recall. It will zero the coffee counters as well.

Hello, i have a krups xp7220 and i have two problems with her.

A common place for a leak under the machine is the barista seal that goes in the bottom of the boiler around that eject rod. Barista seal part number is MS5002202, Seals on the tamping piston are MS5002040 (there can be 1 or 2 of these piston seals) If fixing the leaks does not fix error 6 then I expect it will end up being the distributor. Part number MS2A01500

Krups 4000 coffee machine wont make strong coffee

Maybe the grind is too fine and it is building up too much back pressure. Max is normally around 15 bar, more than that and the pump stops functioning. Also try another silver bucket that holds the grounds, if it is double walled sometimes grinds too small can block them between the skins. There was often a single wall bucket available that eliminated the blockage problem.

I have a Krups burr grinder and I am wondering what setting I should use for the 800ESXL?

Hi,

Really, this is personnal, but first you have to acheive an adjustment that makes your coffee possible to extract. Start with the coarser you can and reduce gradually. Do it one portion at the time, don't grind a whole bag !
The result should be a light hazelnut crema color, deep foam without hole in it.
If the crema is light cream color, the grind is too coarse.
If the crema is dark, uneven or runny, the grind is too fine, or you are using a wrong type of coffee (like only robusta, go for 100% arabica), or it's not toasted properly.
If the water doesn't flow at all, your grind is too fine.
It should take not more than 20 seconds to extract the coffee, if it's very short, grind is too coarse, if it takes longer, the grind is too fine.

Good luck,

JF

Krups xp4030 wont push espresso thru and when you

I had the same problem. The metal filter is clogged with very finely ground coffee. To clear the filter, boil it in vinegar and let it sit for a few hours. Rinse the filter and run water through it in the machine (no coffee in the filter). I found I had to grind the coffee at the medium setting in order to keep the problem from recurring.

No coffee is coming out of the machine...

in our machine we wanted a stronger coffee so we adjusted the auto grinder (where the coffee beans are housed) to the finest setting thinking the finer the grind the stronger the coffee...after doing this the machine wouldnot make coffee...we sent it away while still under warranty and the tech said that the grind selection was too low so they just turned the grinder back up a notch and it worked fine ....dont know if this will help but it's worth a try!
