Wall Ovens , Whirlpool , Appliances. The error code F3 E2 is telling you the electronic control on the range detected a high temperature in the oven. This can be caused by a defective oven temperature sensor or the electronic range control (ERC)
good luck

I have Whirlpool accubake oven, older model, displayed on panel is F5E0 and door locked is checked, it keeps beeping until I push cancel. How do I fix these problems myself?

Try owner's manual, troubleshooting and the F5E0 error code. It may help, otherwise google the error code, or no owners manual? try https://www.manualslib.com

Older whirlpool range is throwing Code F-3. Model#Rs385PXBQO. Serial#ZE5003745

The F3 error code indicates an open circuit at the oven temperature sensor. Usually this means that the temperature sensor has to be replaced. Infrequently, the problem is with the wiring between the sensor and the electronic control board or the control board itself. You should check the continuity of the wiring and across the temperature sensor and for problems in the wiring harness connections before ordering the replacement parts. The manufacturer's recommendations are to replace the temperature sensor first. If the error code recurs, then you replace the control board.

Your range's model number is probably RS385PXBQ0. Most Whirlpool models end with a number. There are several sources for the parts diagram and price list. The temperature sensor is part 23 on the oven body diagram. One diagram is here https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/RS385PXBQ0/1198/0124100.html . Another source is https://www.partselect.com/Models/RS385PXBQ0/Sections/OVEN-BODY/?ModelID=765297&ModelNum=RS385PXBQ0&mfgModelNum=&ManufactureID=3&Selected=P0ICVYKN&Position=4&mfg=Whirlpool&Type=Range&Mark=4 .

If you look for the control board, it's part 19 in the Main Top diagram at the above sites. The control board is no longer sold by Whirlpool. If it's faulty, the recommendation is to send it to a repair shop for a rebuild. Replacing the range is a better solution if the temperature sensor and wiring are not faulty.

I hope this helps.

My Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 caught on fire and it's throwing code F3 how do I fix it and it won't come on

If it caught fire, then it needs to be replaced. Attempting to power it back on can be dangerous and it may catch fire again!

Technition manual kenmore electric range model 911 9358810

With the power disconnected, check all connections.
You may want to purchase an electrical contact cleaner.
This will ensure that all contacts are clean and that you don't have a bad or faulty connection. Often with the older ovens with the heat, it drys out the wire and you may have a broken wire at the connection.

Whirlpool Electric Range Model # RF369LXPB. Self cleaning function does not work. A code displays after self cleaning function has been on for about 3 minutes. The code is F5EO. What does this mean?

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. It means the door lock and door switch dont agree. Check the door switch does the oven light go on and off? does the door lock? It is either the door lock or oven door switch that controls the light.

5 month old Whirlpool Cabrio washer has moldy smell. Tub seems to empty well. Any ideas?

Smelly washers are common. Cabrio washers are HE and therefore use less water. By using less water, it doesn't rinse ITSELF as good as an older non-efficient machine. Things you can do to solve the problem. Buy a cleaner from Whirlpool called Affresh. It's 3 tablets that you throw in the washer without clothes and run it on the longest heavy duty cycle possible. Use the hot water setting and the longest duration. For existing smells use all 3 tablets. Then use 1 tablet every month to prevent reoccurring odors. You can also try the same type of cycle on hot water with a half of a gallon of bleach in the tub, or try it with a half of a gallon of vinegar. One of the 3 should do the trick.

Whirlpool Range RF367 Error Code F1E1 appears when attempting to turn on oven.

Hi Rooster,
This it the proper solution for your problem:
1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

I would need the complete model number to give you a price and part number for the ERC. Just let me know if I can help you more.
