Well I'm not fully understanding, If you were using your computer and then you choose to force close aa program that should not keep the computer from restarting, How ever if the system froze and was shutdown while accessing the hdd drive it is very well possible that the drive has failed due to damage- what does the machine sy when you attempt to boot? if it say not media or drive or no os found it is very well possible the hard drive is dead now. NEVER turn the machine off or unplug it or remove the battery while in use, always try and properly shut down the machine even when frozen- pressing and holding the power button is also not advised as for sometime the button bypasses the os and send a power down the the hardware vs requesting the os shut itself down. If there is a Google account tied to it, there isn't really much you can do. Try calling RCA customer support and see if they can help get you unlocked!
