Look at the bottom of the dial area. There might be two small contacts or a slot for a battery case.

Hold a nine volt to the contacts and wait 5-10 minutes. The device will turn on long enough to enter the code.

If none of that works. Somewhere on the safe is a key code and or a serial number. Contact a locksmith or the manufacturer and they'll give you the factory set code and or the overide key. The let code is usually near where the key goes and the serial number can be had drive find. Look at the bottom of the dial

Go look for the safe that have screwed bolts. Then you unscrewed them and see what type of battery it uses. When you find the battery type, turn it on then reset and will be good as new.

The key is the back-up for a dead battery. Get a locksmith to assist you.

You don't, not without destroying the safe. You'll have to drill out the lock mechanism to get what's kept inside. Once you do that, the safe is useless.

well -- if you have lost the key, you can take the serial number of the safe into any loccksmith shop and they will be able to call the safe company and get the key code and cut you a new key.
also -- look on the front of the lock cylinder itself and see if there are any numbers imprinted on the lock and with those numbers the locksmith might also be able to look up the key code and cut the key. the cost of this will be around 15 dollars.

You don't need keys or batteries to open electronic safes! They are the most unsecure 'safe'! You can use the drop method, the slap on the top method or a rare earth puck magnet!
