Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it (4 to 6 inches maximum) Of course some direct the hose into sink, fine. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

if you can get the front plate off you will probably notice that the drum stabilizer roller has either fallen off or is damaged. This part is replaceable and should be no more than 20 bucks.

SOURCE: thank you for your help macmarkus im still unclear

Hello Vorlon,

Have you checked the current draw while in the test mode ? You'll need a "clamp on meter" ( a meter with a current coil ) It should draw about 11amps with normal heating.

The fact that the only cycle you've indicated finishes is "rinse & hold" only further validates a faulty control or heater, NTC, or flow switch. If it where just a aqua-sensor, it would have no effect on the cycles completing.

Actually It is not likely you would see any noticeable effect from just a faulty aqua-sensor, all it does is measure the amount of soil/dirt in the water and if it is faulty the cycle may be extended, but only slightly.

However if the heater relay in the control is bad, the heater itself, NTC ( negative temperature co-efficient hi-limit) or flow switch are defective, you will only get a current draw of around 105-2amps.

I have a more extensive service manual you are free to have if you think it may help you understand what I'm saying. You'll just need to provide your email address.

I'm in the process of setting up a link for folks like yourself who can make use of this technical info, but I'm not quite there yet...multi-media and pc's in general are not my forte !

I'll watch for your reply.

P.S.

FYI, you could've posted a reply on your last post and I would've received an email directly from "fixya' letting me know you had replied, I hadn't known until I was on here looking that you'd posted a "new' post.

anyway, good luck.

Hi, the first thing the dishwasher does is fill with water, so this sounds like a Anti Flood water pump problem this is just behind the water pipe that feeds the clean water into your machine, one thing to check is if the machine is empty of water at the moment, if the machine has water in the bottom then it could be the Drain Pump.

Zanussi 1250 aqua cycle washing machine can it run on cold water only

If it has 2 inlets at the rear, then you need to connect the cold supply to the hot and cold inlets by means of a Y piece, available from most major retail stores like B&Q, or a plumbers merchants.
If only 1 water inlet, then simply connect to the inlet valve.
