SOURCE: How do I know if my Directv HR22-100 HD receiver is dead?

one last thing you can do, if it doesnt work the dvr is dead. reset the dvr and wait for the hello screen and then the screen will go black. when it turns black, hold the down arrow (on the front of the dvr) and the record button for at least 5 secs. this will re-format the hard drive. if it doesnt work the dvr is dead

SOURCE: no power

Check the Cable between the plug and the switch for continuity using the ohmeter or continuity tester part of a cheap multimeter. Place one lead on each of the plug contacts in turn, and the other on the other end of that wire. If this is okay, check the switch for continuity by placing each lead of your tester on the in and out contacts and pressing the trigger. If still no joy, check the brushes. If still no joy, check the motor windings for continuity.

SOURCE: machine passed through all cycles until the drain

You will want to check your drain pump filter on this machine.
You can access the filter by removing the three screws located at the very bottom of the front panel and pull it out slightly to allow it to drop off the washer.
With the cover removed you will see the drain pump in the front of the base of the machine. The pump is equipped with a pre-filter that can be removed by unscrewing it and pulling it forwards.
Be aware that any water left in the tub is going to come out to greet you, so be prepared. I often tip the machine back to limit the amount that can come out when doing this.
After removing the filter and cleaning whatever treasures you may find from it, be sure to inspect the opening that it slides into before re-installing it. Look way in the back of the opening for any change and pay close attention to the opening on the right as well for anything caught there.
If for some reason you do not find anything in this clean out you may have a defective pump on your hands or an issue with where the washer drains out. I have found many a laundry tub with a restricted drain that allows the water to be siphoned right back into the washer after the washer stops pumping.
Good luck with this!!

Testimonial: "Thanks so much. You were right on. Found a sock blocking the flow. There was some other stuff too, dime, screws and cloth materials. That was too easy. But the pump was also binding up so off to get one tomorrow. Thanks again, this was a big help. "

HELLO I HAVE THE HILTI TE76-ATC WITH CODE 330200 WE CHANGED CARBONS . HOW I CAN MAKE THE RED LIGHT FROM ON TO OFF.

Are you mechanically inclined??? This is a little involved to do. First UNPLUG tool and remove the back section/trigger, there are about 6 screws holding the assembly to the back of the tool. REMOVE as an assembly. SQUEEZE trigger and PLUG into electrical outlet, while holding trigger unplug and reassemble, try this if light still on plug assembly in squeeze trigger and while holding the trigger unplug and retry. One if these should take care of resetting the light. If not the only other way is to send it to HILTI and have them reset it. Let me know if you still need more assistance and results.

Refrigerator wont run. Clicking noise coming from main board preceded by a short humming noise every several seconds. Unplug for 30 minutes then plug back in and compressor starts up after several clicks...

Hello,
That condenser fan motor needs to be replaced. You and doing the right thing as far as using a seperate fan to keep compressor cool, buy replacing the fan the compressor will run cooler and click off by being too hot as you have heard/seen.

Find your model number and call your local appliance parts store and see if they have a CONDERSER FAN MOTOR in stock

One year old weed eater -- wont crank

There may be a few reasons it doesn't crank. First and foremost, you need fresh fuel in it, not the fuel that you used last season. Discard that fuel. You need the air filter to be clean. We can try and coerce it into running. Remove the air filter that is mounted on the carburetor. Open the choke lever. Squeeze the throttle trigger all the way. While you have the trigger squeezed, shoot a couple of shots of aerosol type carburetor/choke cleaner spray through the throat of the carburetor and into the engine. You can find this product at all auto parts stores and even WalMart. Spray the cleaner, then turn on the choke and immediately try to start it. If the machine "pops" like it wants to run or maybe runs for a few seconds, then that is great. We are on the right track. Do this a few times and soon, the carburetor will pick up the fuel in the tank (make sure to use the purge bulb), and possibly begin to run on its own. Before you do ANY of these things however, please remove and clean or replace your spark plug. Post back with results. We like to help.

Dell 540 photo printer

It might be time to, but try these first:

(1) Try rebooting the computer (Press Ctrl+Alt+Del>Shutdown>Shutdown OR press and hold the power button down on the front of the workstation/computer/tower/CPU until the unit turns OFF)

(2) If that doesn’t work, then try clearing the print queue: Start>Settings>Printers>Double-click on the printer>Right-click on the print job(s) and click cancel/delete/purge documents and try reprinting a document

(3) If that doesn’t work, then try a power cycle: Try turning the printer off, then unplug the power supply from the printer, then unplug the USB cable from the printer then the back of the computer; wait 30 second; then plug the USB cable back into the computer, then back into the printer then plug the power supply back into the printer and turn it on – run a test print

(4) Run a Test Print: Start>Settings>Printers>Right-click on the printer>Properties>Print Test Page
