2008 Chevy HHR front rear control arm bushing installation

Hi Dan:
If you have a micrometer (fancy word for a very accurate measuring tool) you could check, BUT, the odds are you have the right bushing and it is indeed a VERY tight fit.
Mechanics trick.........
- Put the new bushing in your freezer overnight and KEEP IT COLD until you're ready to install it.
- Put the part of the control arm that will receive the bushing in some boiling water, or heat it with a torch provided there are no parts that will be damaged.
Working quickly, locate and insert the bushing. A press or large "c" clamp may make the task much easier.
Cheers.

Why does my ram 2500 hemi make a loud click when almost at a dead stop when braking? Calipers? Bushings?

Usually upper and or lower ball joints. Could be caliper loose, brake pads loose, sway bar links, or sway bars bushings

How to tell if ball joints are worn on a 1995 Dodge 2500 4X4. I have a shake when braking and pulls right

Hi, well when lower or upper ball joints go bad your tires will wear more tread on the inside edge of the tire and you might hear a pop or clunk when turning a corner.... but from what your describing it sounds like #1rst. the shake, since its only shaking when you brake and not all the time, tells me your brake rotors are warped and need turned( brake shop can do ) #2. if the truck only pulls right when you brake.then thats going to be in the brakes also... I would have your rotors turned and put new brake pads on it and that should fix your problem....yz-maniac.

2006 dodge ram 2500 4x4 diesel replace brake pads front and back

Straight forward job. Remove wheels, remove 2 caliper bolts per wheel, check bolts, and bushings for wear/corrosion and lubricate, remove calipers, remove brake pads, push caliper pistons into calipers, replace anti-rattle clips, put new pads in, put caliper and bolts in, put wheels on. Start truck and press brake pedal several times to take up slack and you're done.

2003 Dodge 4x4 2500 drive shaft popping when in 4x4

sounds like the acuator on the axle isn't locking the axels together and allowing them to slip you can check it by removing the actuator and looking at the collar and splines on the shafts.

My Electrolux upright worked fine

Are you using the proper bag? There's a kill/reset switch that needs to be pushed down by the rim of the bag before the unit will run.
