It could be a bad capacitor but if its store bought new Id
take it back
Hi.
The vast majority of the time(over 99%) it is either the magnetism on the alternator has dropped out or AVR failing. If flashing the generator does not solve the problem then replacing this should fix it.
Only replace the part with a quality Grade "A" replacement that is built for your Generator. Anything else could cause damage to your Alternator, resulting in the Alternator needing to be replaced and this is a very expensive! (We only sell grade "A" products.)
You will need to pull the part out and have it on hand when you order. Once you have identified if it is an AVR or a Capacitor, look up and purchase your replacement parts on our website.
Kind Regards

First check with the
dealer and see if it is still under warranty. If it is not, make sure nothing
is blocking the air flow around where the control modules are located. This
could cause the voltage regulator and other electronic parts to overheat. Next
check the brushes and make sure they are free of any dust or build up preventing
them from making contact.
If everything is OK the
next thing I would do is change the voltage regulator.
TRY THE DINAMO OR MAY JUST BE A LOSE WIRE OR BROKEN
