Change a 10 watt xenon bulb in a Model DCMS-10 puck light

i would stop trying to fix this.
The bulb is very expensive

The current draw is going to almost double,from 4.5 amps to 8.3,I wouldn't be so worried of the wiring ,it will handle the increase as I would of the your relays as this is where the increased draw is going to have the most affect.Generally all electrical componenets are designed to handle 33% over what they are rated at,they will work but this will shorten the lifespan of your relays by as much as 50%.

You wil probably have to take the headlamp off, never opende one up but most of the time they are retained by two screws on the top of the headlamp and clipped at the buttom. Could also be clips or metal braces instead of screws, and you may have to take some trims off to get the headlamp off.

most fixed halogen bulb units are either held in place with a spring around the glass or a pop tab ring around the glass, these should be carefully pried away leaving the glass to fall out, once the glass is out then bulb replacement can be achieved, remember not to touch the halogen bulb replacement with your bare fingers, use a tissue or similar as the natural oils on our skin can cause a bulb to fail prematurely refitting is a reversal of removal

Try "Batteries + Bulbs". If they don't have it in the store they can most likely order it. And "No" I don't work there.
