Hello, my CDA fwc602ss wine fridge is not cooling. Appliance around 5 yrs old.

Hello, my CDA fwc602ss wine fridge is not cooling. The compressor is clicking on and running constantly (warm to the touch) but internal temperature is not coming down, remaining around room temperature. At the rear of the appliance near the compressor, there is some blue oxidised copper residue. All fans are running. Everything is clean and clear of obstacles.

SOURCE: Freezer and Refrigirator not cooling

You didn't say if the compressor is running or not. If it is and all other things you stated are running then it has a sealed system problem. The sealed system comes with a 5 yr warranty in most cases (check owners manual). If the compressor is not running then listen for a click at the compressor. If you hear the click then I would replace the relay on the compressor. If you need further help I will need the complete model # off the sticker inside the fridge section.

SOURCE: Central Air not cooling properly

This tubbing carries the refrigerant. The small line is flowing to their inside air handler. If the line is hot it is an indication that the outside unit is not able to release the heat. The most common reason is that the coil (looks like a car radiator) is dirty or plugged. This can be cleaned with a brush or sometimes a garden hose. They do make acid type cleaners for doing this, but the use of the acids are restricted in some areas.

By the way the other black pipe should have a larger copper line behind the black insulation. That line should be cold and sweaty like a nice glass of ice tea:)

SOURCE: compressor runs constantly, fridge cools, but not as cold as new

If unit is running constantly, and not nearly as cold as it used to be, most likely a freon leak. Possibly a partially frozen over evap too. If evap is mostly clear except for about 5% of it, most probably a freon leak. Changing controls will probably not fix anything. Need to look into this a little deeper.

Good Luck and hope this gets it done for you.

Light is on, temp is set to cool, but the unit is NOT cool. The unit is 10 years old.

as old as the unit is the compressor has most likley gone bad. For this size compressor the replacement should not cost that much. You can call an appliance repair shop and let them know you unit and that you need a new compressor installed they should be able to quote you a cost on replacement.
Good luck hope this helped

UNIT (ABOUT 4 YRS OLD) STOPPED COOLING FREEZER AND FRIDGE AND MAKES A BUZZING NOISE ABOUT EVERY 5 MINUTES.

buzzing noise is possibly the compressor tring to restart. It sounds as if the compressor is going into thermal overload. I would suggest the replacement of the compressor. Good Luck

MIni fridge stopped working/cool.

I got mine in 2005. It stopped working 4 or 5 weeks ago. It made a clicking noise and the compressor was very hot. Compressor is under warranty but appliance repair shop wanted $125 to install it and another $75 to charge it with freon. I saw a posting somewhere else that said it was a relay switch. I ordered one from RepairClinic.com for $24.00 incl. shipping, put it in and it's working now. There's a black plastic housing on the left side of the compressor. Just unscrew that, pop the cover off (that was a little tricky) and plug in the new part. Maybe I'll get another 3 years out of it.

Loud noise

The compressor fan is making the noise and causing overheating as well. Easy fix. Call Danby with model # and they can figure out correct fan. Part will cost around $10 and is easy to replace. Plug and play with screws. Good luck
