SOURCE: Replaced battery, now no beep.

I have a Timex Digital Heart Rate Monitor 585 (product code T5C351F5)m, which has the same Short AC Pad and battery +ve message. There is an arrowhead pointing to the pad. It's a raised metal platform - a bit different to some of the Ironman's mentioned above. Here is a pic...6e1fe0e.jpg

SOURCE: Timex Rush Indiglo Watch: shorting the AC pad to the battery

If you take a jeweler's lupe near where the arrow is you will see the word "reset" in the plastic.
There is a deep hole in the plastic with contacts below. That is the reset, and that is why you must use very sharp pointed tweezers to make contact with the back of the battery.

I think if you do not have sharp tweezers, you can probably put a sewing pin down the hole, and then connect with a small screwdriver to the back of the battery..

I just replaced the battery on my Timex WR100 watch, but can't seem to reset it correctly. There is a sticker on the original battery "AFTER BATTERY INSERTION SHORT AC PAD AND BATTERY (+) TO...

It sounds like you're not far off. Peel the sticker back a little, and see if there is a small contact point (usually yellow metal) - this should be marked 'AC'. Short this to the + for 3 seconds, then repeat for good measure. If that doesn't sort it, try taking the battery out, wait about 30 seconds then put it back in and reset if necessary. If there's still no display, obtain a known working battery and try again.
If you still have no display, it's time to give up and admit it's dead.... unless you've been using a plastic coated paper clip.

Good luck.

I replaced all four batteries and i still have nothing .inside the watch it says to jumper the A C point with a twizers. what is the AC point and where.this s a casio 2271 2years old had factory batteries...

Casio battery changes are quite tricky. If you look closely at the watch module there is a place for the battery and a v-small depression usually circular on the silver module .There will be the letters AC in small writing. You need to touch the depression AC and the battery at the same time with a conductive tweezers. This shorts the module and re sets the watch.Make sure any seals go back in to protect from water/dust.

What is the AC terminal which I need to short with the battery + when I change the battery?

The AC terminal is a little metal spot (usually a circle and usually gold colored) on the inside of your watch. Looking at the inside of your watch the "AC" should be labeled, though it may take a magnifier to identify it.
It may be labeled simply "AC" or it may have an arrow pointing to it. Once you locate it use a pair of tweezer or a paper clip and touch the battery and the AC together for a few seconds and release; you may have to do this twice.

How can I reset the "short AC pad and battery (+) on timex expedition

You know where AC pads are right? If you don't know, look at the sticker. there is an arrow on the sticker. An arrow points out 11'oclock.
After insert the bettery, you just touch the golden pads with metal screw. that is how to short AC pads.

I am trying to change the 2016 battery in my Casio AQ 150W. I put the new battery in but no power. On inside of case it says "after battery replacement, contact AC with battery ( ) using...

I have a similar model.  The electronics sometimes needs to be reset after the battery is changes.  Get a magnifying glass and look closely at the stainless frame around the battery.  There is a small AC mark and a triangle which points toward a small gold contact down in an adjacent hole.  This contact must be shorted momentarily to the + side of the battery to reset the display.  You can bend a metal paper clip to make the connection.  You may have to try several times before it resets. It should reset to 12:00 and start running.
