SOURCE: Durabrand 5 qt slow cooker model MD-TC5002

My durabrand crockpot was given as a gift this past Christmas 2007. The inside part cracked severely when I was trying to make a pot roast. Where do I contact these people to get a replacement. I have not receipt as it was a gift. Walmart does not have any in stock to replace the inner part. I tried several stores. I cannot find the company online to contact them for a replacement.

SOURCE: 5 qt Slow Cooker Lid

That's a Durabrand crockpot, made for Wal-Mart if I remember correctly. I know that many of Durabrand's electronic products are made by a company called Funai, but I don't know who makes the cookware. I came up empty trying to find a manufacturer or parts source on the Internet.

Some suggestions:

1. Try Wal-Mart and see if they can tell you what they do with defective returns. Maybe they can give you a name to try, or maybe they'll have a dud unit they can give you the lid from.

2. Measure the lid and see if there's a close match to a lid from a name-brand cooker. You might find one that fits well enough.

3. Check your local Craig's List postings or your local sales flyer (Green Sheet, Pennysaver, whatever it's called in your area). You may find someone selling one for a few bucks, or you can ask if anyone has a lid.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but maybe one of these will get you in the right direction. Thanks for asking here!

SOURCE: repalcement handles for Rival slow cooker crock pot model scu600

My black handle broke off, too. I went to the hobby store and got a wood ball not too big and drilled a hole in it the same diameter as the screw that held in the original handle. Voila, I now have a wood ball knob handle on my crock pot lid. You just install it and cscrew it on just like you do a new knob on a kitchen cabinet.

Della 12 Quart 1600-Watt Electric Pressure Cooker Multi-Functional Timer Slow Cook XL Part number: 048-GM-48261 Unable to get this cooker to slow cook.

it is possible that you have misunderstood the instructions
for a slow cooker you have low medium and high
press slow cook and on low and in 8 hours the food is cooked
I see from your statements that you expect the cooker to be set on slow cook but cook at a high temperature fast
if it says slow cook --9 hours and the temp is 125 degrees , have you waited 9 hours to see if it is cooked as the slow cooking process is by the gradual build up of heat in the container that is not expelled by radiation to the air
in a pressure cooker , that build up of heat also builds up pressure and so it cooks better
other solution--- if it is not right return it for a warranty refund or if out of warranty , junk it and get a different make

I pushed the cook time button but it still says zero what do I do

Hit the on/off button, so that the cooker looks like it is off, then hit the cook time button up the the number of hours you need to cook. This slow cooker has three settings: LOW, HIGH and WARM..... When your corningware slow cooker is initially plugged into a wall outlet, the display will show "0". This display indicates the programmed number of hours for which ameal will cook. The slow cooker can be programed in one hour increments from 1 to 10 on your digital display. The number of hours may be selected by pushing the COOK TIME button until the desired cooking time appears. If 1,2,3,4,5, or 6 hours are selected, then the slow cooker will operate on the high setting. If 7,8,9, or 10 hours are selected then the slow cooker will operate on the low setting. To start the cooking cycle press the ON/OFF button. To interrupt the cooking cycle at anytime, press the ON/OFF button. If the ON/OFF button is pressed when the digital display shows "0", then the slow cooker will automatically start on the warm setting.

Need a manual for the corningware sc60

The manual basically says... This slow cooker has 3 settings LOW, HIGH, and WARM. W hen you plug the slow cooker in the display shows "0". When you press the "COOK TIME" button, the display should go from 0 to 1 to 2 to 3 etc. each time the "COOK TIME" button is pressed. If 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 hours are selected, then the slow cooker will operate on the HIGH setting. If 7,8,9,or 10 hours are selected, the slow cooker will operate on the LOW setting. To start the cooking cycle, press the "ON/OFF" button. To interrupt the cooking cycle at any tim, press the "ON?OFF" button. When the cooking cycle is complete, your slow cooker will automatically switch to the WARM setting. If the "ON/OFF" button is pressed when the digital display shows "0", then the slow cooker will automatically start on the WARM setting.
If the "COOK TIME" button does not change the display numbers, unplug the slow cooker. Hold down both buttons and plug the slow cooker in and keep them pressed down for a count of 10. Release the buttons and the slow cooker should work now.
