Nothing can be found on the module nr. you stated. Do you mean a Casio G-Shock G-314.
You can find the module nr. on back of your watch (4 digit number in a rectangle)

The manual for your watch can be downloaded via the link provided below:

The contact springs most likely have nothing to do with your screen being black.
The watch will have an "AC" or all clear function that needs to be performed. Check the back lid for AC or reset instructions. If there are no instructions there then you will have to visit a watch repairman/technician to have this procedure performed as it involves touching the AC pad on the circuit board to the back of the battery already installed. The circuit board is easily damaged if not performed properly.

The brand new Casio watch Module No. 2747 does not allow the analog time to be decreased! I've reset the digital time to the present time. When I try to reset the analog time (watch hands) I cannot turn...

Assuming all Casio models have the same mode of operation, try this:-

Press the mode button until you see "HS" on the display (hand setting) and then use the 2 and 4 o'clock buttons to adjest the hands.

If this does not work and you do not have the manual for your watch, you can get
instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals",

Select "watch manual archive"

HOW TO SET TIME

Hi eddiepaul,

This watch is fairly complex, with all the many features and modes. I could list this procedure out here, taking up an entire page, but I will say you start by pressing button "D" on the lower left, one time. Setting the time is the first of 6 (Six) modes of operation. Your watch module number is probably a #2632, and module #2805 is basically the same.

If you don't have the manual, go here and download, save and printout the manual for complete instructions for everything about this watch.
http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw2632.pdf

You'll find what you need for setting the date and time on page 1.

It's hard to believe Casio packed so many features in such a reasonably price watch! I've had Casio and Timex with all these modes, and love 'em!

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Regards, Bill

Setting the time/date.

Use this page to download a copy of CASIO watch manuals in PDF format. To download a PDF file, enter the four-digit (or three-digit) module number marked on the back cover of your watch.

http://world.casio.com/wat/download/en/manual/

You will need a pdf reader on your pc, you will find all instructions in there.
