I have the exact same rifle, same bs, but you can tighten it up by adjusting the lever itself, it's adjustable butvto be honest I left mine alone bc it's hard to get it right once you start messing with it!

My Remington mod. 7400 rifle will eject unfired sells from the magazine but when rifle is fired the bolt moves all the way back, but spent cartridge stays completely in the magazine. how get pts?

Is it possible that your ejector does not have enough tension or material to grab the spent casing to pull out? The casing expands in the chamber after it is fired and will be difficult for the ejector to dispense the empty casing if it is not able to get under rim. Try this out first and see where it leads you. Cheers and good shooting!

What is the history of a 38 S & W ctg seriel number V659042

The round was first introduced in 1877 for use in the S&W .38 Single Action. After World War I, the British military sought to replace pre-war revolvers with easier to handle weapons. Webley demonstrated a lighter version of their Mk III revolver with modified .38 S&W ammunition, firing a heavy 200-grain (13 g) bullet. Specific information about a weapon chambered in this caliber is available from Smith and Wesson for a fee.

.38 s w model 925, what type of ammo will it handle?

This is an H&R top break revolver, and it is chambered in the old .38 S&W caliber, which is not .38 Special! Do not attempt to load it with modern .38 Special - if you manage to put one in the cylinder, the pressure is too much for the weapon and it can burst upon firing turning your gun into a hand grenade. I cannot stress this enough. You can buy the proper ammunition for this but you will have to look for it online. No store will have this in stock. Most of what you will find will be brass or nickel cased with a soft lead round nosed bullet. It is a rather low powered cartridge and you can guess from the gun's size this was not a service round caliber. I would get a .380 ACP semiauto to carry and keep this one for fun shooting at the range. If you love the top break revolver, there are more potent calibers in larger framed guns like the S&W Scholfield in .44 black powder you can buy from outfits like Navy Arms. Lots of cowboy action shooters use them, but the 1873 is still the king with these folks. The rapid unload and reload with moon clips make the top break the fastest reloading system of the 19th century.

My umarex will not shoot after about 3 co2 reloads. It´s not that old.

When Co2 is used to propel a projectile the escaping gas is very cold - below zero cold - and water vapor condenses on metal and that causes the pressure in the chamber to drop to zero or so little that it can't move the pellet. If you are firing this as rapid fire strings I am surprised you got through two cylinders of gas.

Date of manufacture of a Model 90 Winchester Pump Rifle .22 wrf - Serial # 774741, and a source of this information. Thanks!

Contact WInchester. You can get some limited information from the Blue Book. See your local gunsmith or shop for access to that info.

.22 wrf is not .22lr - be careful when buying ammo. You need to check for obsolete caliber ammunition to feed this firearm.

How do you determine weather a 700 is long or short action

there are three lengths of action (not including the Model Seven's lightweight action, which is even shorter than the 'standard' short action). There is the short action for cartridges up to 2.800 in (71.12 mm) in overall length like the .308 Winchester cartridge family, the standard action for cartridges up to 3.340 in (84.84 mm) in overall length like the .30-06 Springfield and .300 Winchester Magnum cartridge families and the long action for magnum calibers exceeding 3.340 in (84.84 mm) in overall length like the .300 Remington Ultra Magnum and .375 Holland & Holland cartridge families.
