No it isnt working there is a problem either with the refrigerant in the unit or the compressor isnt coming on dont spend any money repairing it buy a new one dehumidifiers are very disposable.

Unit just won't work anymore .

I have a model dh404e with the same problem.I was told it is the main control board inside the unit(not dislpay board) but a new board costs around $60.

Yes set unit humidity dial about half way or until it comes on. You need something to measure humidity. most of dials dont have a humidity reading. Set at about 50% Rus

Just found this forum noticed your post, it is old I know, hopefully you got your unit working already.

The unit is designed to be operated at temperatures above 65°F(18°C) in normal conditions. If the dehumidifier
is operated in low temperature conditions frost can form in the evaporator coil and the unit will cycle ON/OFF
repeatedly. In this case, please check your room temperature conditions and stop the unit.
