My enigma autoclave isn't starting. There is no error message on the screen. It just beeps 3 times and does nothing?
I know nothing about Enigma but this is typical of PC problems with memory. If there is a Keyboard, try getting into Bios by restarting and pressing F2 and Del keys alternately on turn on. This gets you into most computer Bios. When there, look for Memory/RAM to see if it is seeing any. Try "Reset to defaults" as a last resort.
Try to get the manual and look for "Trouble Shooting" section. If it has info on memory installation (for example, adding or replacing, read carefully.
If you have a techie guy there, think about opening up the Enigma to get to the main board (mother board) and removing the RAM module(s). If you can have them tested, do so. If not, clean them with a dry clean toothbrush, blow out(or vac) the main board socket the RAM came out of (be sure Enigma is plugged in and off and not too much vacuuming as it builds up static). And if there are more than one RAM, plug in only 1 or reverse the slots or use other slots if there are any. Try all combinations. Power off between each removal/insertion. Be careful and gentile but firm. Be careful of static electricity. Any little "Snap" you hear from touching some thing is a hazard to electronics, so keep in touch with the machine to stay grounded. Hold the RAM, use that hand to touch the Enigma 1st without touching the RAM to the Enigma and then proceed. That grounds you and by default, the RAM safely. Peep the Enigma plugged in but turned off except when testing.
