SOURCE: Whirlpool Cabrio top loading washer F1 Error

F1 means the control board is shot. Call whirlpool and they should take care of the parts and labor even though your machine is out of warranty.

SOURCE: Where is the pump/filter located on my Kenmore Front Loader Washe

It is just behind the lower panel. Remove the 3 screws from the lower panel (the panel just below the door), the screws are on the lip on the bottom of the panel facing the front of the machine. Pull down and toward you to get the panel off. The filter and clean out are in the center. Unscrew the cap to remove and clean out, but have lots of towels ready, there will be water coming out.

I have a WTW5600XW Cabrio Electric Dryer and a WTW5640XW Top load Washer. I have lost my ring and think it may be in either one of these. I think I forgot it in my pants pocket when I put it in ther

In the washer it could be under the agitator if it is a top loader, if it is a front loader there is really no place for it to go but check the rubber seal around the door. In the dryer it should be in the tumbler or possibly in the lint filter but unless the lint screen is broken or you ran it without one it should not be able to go out into the venting piping etc

No problem with Filter.
Pressure switch is not working, it is not sensing the water level. There could be one more reason can cause this issue. Please check the Pressure HOSE whether is punchered or not.

My whirlpool front loader cabrio stopped working with 12 minutes left in the cycle. The Ld code is flashing and I don't know how to fix it so that the load will spin and drain. How do I fix this...

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

Ld means long drain and is displayed when it takes longer than 5 minutes to pump out the water to a point where the pressure switch resets. To solve this problem make sure that the drain filter pump assembly located inside the bottom front panel is clean and after cleaning if the error returns then the pressure switch needs to be tested and if bad then it needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Fabric softeneer despenser has water in it. We have not used the despenser. Have a whirlpool cabrio top loader

Had one where the softener dispenser had all kinds of dried up crud from the softener which caused the water to collect there instead of drain down. It actually looked like wax, after cleaning it out the water problem went away.

Unballenced on spin even when empty

It may come up an unbalanced load but it may a sensor that is on recall. I have a Whirlpool Cabrio top loader and after I start it it says F1 which is a sensor on recall and I have to restart it several times before it continues the load. Go to their web site and you can look up the exact model to see if yours has a recall as well.
