I have an Element TV. It started showing a shawdow on the right half of the screen and had a fuzzy picture. I went in and looked around the back of the TV for a solution because I saw a YouTube video about...

It was the power board,but it is definitely the power board now don't touch anything while it's plugged in .

I have an element tv that isn't displaying picture only sound.

I Have a 40" Element LCD when i power on the TV and I have sound but no picture. If you power on the TV in the dark you very faintly can see the Element picture on the screen for a couple second's.

Probable bad board, solder joints known to fail.

Element tv no picture but sound had a slight burning smell

Hello
The power supply regulator section to your tV, have some shorted component/s in it. It is better to repplace this power baord as card basis, rather than try to repair it.

No picture no sound

Hi,
It's the cable connection that you need to check. If the power light stays on then it's just the cable, if it doesn't stay on then the power port is defective.

TV powers on...element screen comes on and then screen goes black

if the tv is power on and having a sound the problem is only the heater supply of the picture tube...

Lost entire picture, sound and everything else OK

check the invertor boards resistors they power the back lights
also check for any capactors that have blown (raised tops) they look little bateries

Sylvania SRT2232S Powers On, No Picture, High Frequency squeal

Hello there. I'm sorry to say that it sounds as if the element that actually energizes your screen is bad. It is most likely overheating. or quite poosible the power converter lost a resistor or 2.

This could be the TV's power supply, but that is just a guess, hands on testing must be done.

SOURCE: constant clicking sound when turned

Sounds like bulb is burnt out. Have replaced its the cheapest way to go. It may be a power board but if its out of its warrenty, then you may just want to buy a new set.
