My Samsung dryer will only power on if it is unplugged and plugged back in .. also , we can not change the settings it just stays on normal

Is ther power at the outlet? If yes, try unplugging dryer and plugging it back in. If that doesn't work, try unplugging and plugging back in while holding down power button. Good luck.

normally if u unplug it for a couple minutes then plug back in , may reset . also try putting it on the on position then open and close the lid slightly 6 times withing 12 seconds, it may reset it

Check the power supply first. You need to have 220volts for and electric fryer to operate.

Is it clean? fan and vents? Unplug, remove battery, leave battery out, plug in, reboot. If that fails, Re Boot and try a System restore/recovery to a date before this issue. Turn off the power and unplug the cable, wait 1 min. and plug it back inn, turn the power on and it will go back to normal setting,

TRY PRYING TWO OPPOSED CONERS OF THE SCREEN AT THE SAME TIME IF IMAGE CHANGES OR COMES BACK NORMAL YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE PANEL .

There are many protective circuits inside the set that will shut it down if a problem is detected. It sounds like there are intermittant detections of problems and the "restart" temporarily clears the problem. If the unit is no longer under warranty, open up the back with the set unplugged and try reseating all of the boards and connectors. The trip may have jared a few things loose. Update this with the results.
