We have Comfort zone system 1(Four zone system)
SOURCE: A thermostat versus an AC problem
Hi,
"outside sensor error" is indicative of a Diagnostic error display, a feature where the device checks the functionality of each attached component. It would seem that your system has the optional "Outdoor Temperature Sensor" (probably P/N TSTATXXSEN01-B). The error then indicates that either that sensor is faulty or the hook up cable is unplug or defective. If you do not observed any critical changes in the comfort inside your home or the area that your system monitors/controls, then this only confirms that it is external and a sensor problem and does not affect the A/C and/or the variable speed furnace/comfort zone system. Normal faults could be the external sensor to cable connector/terminals being exposed to the elements and would require hard cleaning.
This sensor is not critical to the operation of the system and is optional.
Hope this be of additional help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.

SOURCE: I have an AO5 error
This indicates a power fault inside the actual heater. Have you tried unplugging the heater, letting it sit for a good 2 minutes, and replugging it back in? If the problem persists you will unfortunately need a repair. Please let me know if you need more information on this. You can also contact comfort zone, the manufacturer, located in Canada, at 780-420-6572.
Thanks so much for the question,
