SOURCE: Senco SN4 misfiring intermittently
This is a discontinued tool by Senco but there are still parts available for it. It sound to me that the o rings and possibly the firing valve need to be replaced. I would recommend going to Senco.com and you will find a complete parts diagram in their discontinued tool section. They also have a toll free number if needed and you can talk to their air pro. I have rebuilt quite a few of these and they are not that hard just make sure to clean all the parts and use lube when replacing O rings.
SOURCE: senco 600 framing nailer / double hitting(nailing)
double nailing is usually caused when you apply to much pressure on gun causing it to fire on the recoil lighten up just tap it on the surface to be nailed
SOURCE: How to unload nails from Senco FinishPro 35
when you pull the spring back like your going to load it .put your finger in the hole and push it .you'll see that the nails will be release.
SOURCE: Senco nail gun was working one minute and then died...
gun nails frist nail then does not set next nail
SOURCE: Senco 601 nailer shoots 2 nails each time the trigger is pulled.
the 601 had a design flaw, in the nose, where the nails hit as the are being pushed forward, the peice was made out of a peice of metal that was too soft, it wore down and that is where you get the double nail problem.
Senco offered a trade in, this was years ago, for a limited time and gave us credit towards new guns, which we gladly did
